The call, with a budget of €5 million, opened on 28 January 2026 and closed on 29 March 2026. Individual grants were available up to €30,000 with 50% co-financing.
Eligibility conditions
Eligible applicants were individual legal entities qualifying as micro, small or medium-sized enterprises—fewer than 250 employees and turnover of no more than €50 million or a balance-sheet total of no more than €43 million—engaged in the development, manufacture, import or distribution of products with digital elements subject to the CRA.
Applications were submitted individually through the SECURE platform, with no more than one application per organisation, and were assessed with an emphasis on excellence, impact and project feasibility in accordance with the CRA.

Applications were assessed by an independent committee of experts. Unsuccessful proposals could be revised and submitted in a subsequent call.
